Founding director. Huub Maas’ expertise in initiating, organizing and managing complex innovation projects. In 2005 he founded Widget Technology BV. In the same year he also developed his concept for a new consumer tapping system, which at present is being sold by Princess Household Systems under a license agreement. Since 2006 he is a partner and managing director in Medimate BV, a company that uses ‘Lab on a chip’ microtechnology to make point-of-care medical diagnostics possible. From 1985 till 2005 he worked for Heineken Breweries in sales, marketing and innovation functions, in the Netherlands as well as in Singapore and the Canary Islands.
